Back in civilization now... We just finished the 3 week trek around the Annapurna Circuit in the Nepal Himalayas. It was an awsome experience. I almost didn't go, but I won't get into that now... Highlights: great scenery, really nice people, Thorong La Pass 17,592 foot elevation, visit 87 year old Buddhist Lama on mountain side, dealing with Maoist rebel's, and more. I took many pictures. Every few steps is a photo opportunity. I'll post details about the trek in a few days, but wanted to let all my faithful fans out there know that I made it through another episode, despite the US Embassy telling us that we shouldn't go, and that I'll be back again next week.
